About Me
"When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence."

The Story of a Photographer
Of course you know that my name is Kaylie. I've lived in Mississippi my entire life, and I always dreamed about moving to Tennessee. Unfortunately I never did move to Tennessee, but I'm happy with my good old hospitality state now. I started my photography journey when I was young. I'd play around with my moms disposable film cameras, of course, never really knowing how they worked until much later in life. I just enjoyed capturing the moment. When I was 12 years old, mom bought me my first digital point and shoot camera! It was hot pink. I spent my time capturing every moment that I possibly could, and I took that camera everywhere with me. I got really good at getting pictures of the hummingbirds that would go to the feeder on the balcony during the spring time.
Fast forward 10 years and I met and married my best friend. His name is Chris. His last name is Bond. Like James Bond. Yes that joke gets a little old (calm down; it's sarcasm). He has a very dry sense of humor that has so easily rubbed off on his happy go lucky wife. That man taught me everything I needed to know about running a business (too bad I didn't listen) and gave me the courage to take the leap into starting my own photography business. Together we have one beautiful daughter named Scarlett (yes, just like on "Gone With the Wind"), a dog named Serene that I brought into our marriage, and a cat that adopted us (seriously, where did he come from?) named Simon.
